Seven Years Old!

This week is shaping up to be quite busy, so I thought I'd get Emma's birthday post up nice and early to relieve my stress later in the week.  Emma Grace turns seven this weekend!  To me, seven is the heart of childhood, right smack in the middle of it, about half way to being a teen.  I will not type the "t" word again any time soon as it has a tendency to put a lump in my throat :(.  I did a little photo shoot with my big girl a couple weeks ago, so here you have it, my precious Emma at seven years old, more beautiful than I can find words to describe!  Sometimes I just marvel with speechless wonder that God would entrust me to care for and bring up this little girl I call "mine".  So uniquely her, fearfully and wonderfully made.  And me, so fallen and sinful, so in need of her forgiveness daily, trying to show her her need for Jesus as she sees mine.  So many hopes for you, sweet Sauce, as I think of all that lies ahead, good friendships, the fruits of the Spirit, and most of all, a deeper understanding of who God made you to be and of what it means to know Him and love Him intimately.  Big words for a girl of seven, but just know that mommy is praying for you every day and hoping with all I have that God will equip your daddy and I to be the parents you need us to be!  Happy Birthday Emma, I love you to the moon!
