Two Month Stats

So I don't forget, here are Autumn's two months stats

 She's growing beautifully, as the doctor put it, she's gained exactly four pounds since birth and now weighs 11lb., 5oz. (70th%) and is 24 inches long (90th%).  This makes her long and lean, as the doc put it.  She's getting the cutest baby chub on her arms and legs now, SO kissable!

  She's really turned a corner as far as being easy during the day.  She now goes to bed between 8 and 8:30pm.  I wake her up before I go to bed for a late night phantom feed, then she sleeps until 4 or 5am, eats, and is back down til 7 or so.  During the day, she's extending her wakeful times to about 1.5 to 2 hours at a time and taking three or four 1.5-2.5 hour naps.  She's so happy and observant during her wakeful times, which makes it so much easier to get things done.  And it's so helpful that her siblings love to talk and play with her so much, she's never lacking in entertainment.

 The girl just doesn't cry much, such a happy little camper.  She'll whine (not really cry) for a minute or two when I put her down for her naps, but that's pretty much it.  Her smiles and coos are absolutely intoxicating, with the choice between chores and hanging out and chatting with her, she usually wins;).  She's starting to kick her legs and move her arms in excitement rather than just out of reflex, her whole body smiles!

    I am soaking this sweet time in with my baby girl as I know the time will pass too quickly.  I am videoing her all the time because I know how fast she's changing.  Autumn Mae, you are such a gift!  Thank you Lord for this sweet baby!

Smiley Friday!

 This first picture is my best attempt at capturing Autumn smiling.  The big black camera distracts her, so it was not easy!  This isn't her full grin, but you get the idea.

Can't believe how much our sweetie has changed in just five and a half weeks!

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!  We'll be officially done with the electrical work in our basement this weekend and ready for the first inspection.  Travis should be able to start insulation next weekend, so excited!

Keepin it real

Do you have one of those places in your house, a clutter trap that drives you ten shades of crazy?  Well I sure do, a couple of them to be exact!  And here, for your viewing and feel-better-about-my-own-clutter-traps viewing pleasure, are some pictures of these areas in full clutter glory:).  Just keepin it real folks:).

Autumn Mae, One Month!

To say this past month has flown by at lightning speed is an understatement!  Autumn Mae will be one month old tomorrow, I just can't wrap my mind around it.  How in the world did she go from being too small for newborn clothes to comfortably wearing size 0-3 months in just four short weeks!?  I guess my milk agrees with her;).  Here are a few pictures taken over the past week or so.

Just for record sake, here's what she's doing at one month old:

-waking up once, rarely twice, to eat during the night, but goes right back to sleep.

-focusing her eyes on people and things with great interest.

-eating every three hours and taking great naps in her bed (which is so great for a mama with so much to do:)).

-holding her head up with good neck strength.

 -gaining more control of her hands, not scratching her face anymore.

-making a few random cooing sounds while awake, so sweet!

-being the apple of her siblings eyes!  They still fight over who gets to hold her next and for how long

-fitting right in to our family, we just don't know what we would do without her:).  We know she was meant to be our sweet little caboose;).
